Out for a drive and came across this little park along the Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway. We stopped and went in for a while.

This is the view looking South from Jensen Beach.

You find these abandoned boats that have drifted ashore and left to rot. A local said this one has been here for 3 or 4 years.

The Pelicans were waiting for a fisherman to throw some fresh fish guts their way.

Pretty tame I'd say. They let me get very close.

A bridge over the Intercoastal.

A view along the boardwalk.

Maggie and Lilly had a walk and thought it was a pretty neat place. Maggie does seem to be a bit thirsty.

On our way home we meandered up the coast and decided to stop in at this great spot. Kathy says it's warm and positively swimable. Once those gathering storm clouds clear we will have to get out the swim trunks.

The water looks beautiful, aqua blue/green.

Can anyone spot the rooster?

Nice pics. Had to enlarge the picture to see the rooster. Is is a pet?

I don't know if they were tame or not. There were 2 of them there and they were crowing to beat the band. Surely those things don't roam wild in Fort Pierce, do they?

I suspect that chicken was gassing up.
